Essex and Warwickshire Lodges unite through Integrity

Lodge of Integrity receives a visitor from their namesake Lodge in Warwickshire

At a recent meeting of the Lodge of Integrity No. 5149 that meets at the County Hotel, Chelmsford, they had a visitor, Simon Grove from the Province of Warwickshire, and the Lodge of Integrity No. 4563.

Simon has enjoyed many reciprocal visits to other ‘Lodges of Integrity,’ but Essex had eluded him until now.

Simon, was warmly welcomed and thoroughly enjoyed the meeting which consisted of the Worshipful Master (WM), Steve Vinton, remaining in office and leading his new team in undertaking a passing ceremony.

Also in attendance was Philip Lovelock, Assistant Provincial Grand Master (APGM), who presented Chris Mason with his Grand Lodge Certificate. Chris was also in his first office as Inner Guard during the meeting.

At the Festive Board, Simon surprised the WM by singing the Masters Song and in response, the WM presented him with a set of lodge cufflinks and a lapel pin to mark the day.

Simon’s visit has forged a lasting bond between the two lodges, ensuring a physical connection for years to come.

In addition, there are six other ‘Lodge of Integrity’ spread throughout England and Wales situated in:

East Lancashire No. 163, Yorkshire No. 380, Devon No. 4098, London No. 5251, Cheshire No. 6328 and South Wales No. 6907.

The occurrence of multiple lodges sharing similar names is not unique. Some further examples are Alexandra, Doric, Loyalty, St. John’s, to name just a few.
