Cast a line and have a great time.

You do not have to be a Freemason to Join the members of Stonewell Lodge, Rochford for a great day of sea fishing in the Thames Estuary on Saturday 15th July 2023. 

Steve Ashby, event co-ordinator said “All sea fishermen interested in Freemasonry, and all Freemasons intrigued by the art of sea fishing are welcome. We've found a remarkable synergy between the two, and our events continue to grow in popularity.” 

Stonewell Lodge which meets at Rochford Masonic Hall was formed in 1985 and has become a unique platform for its members to partake in both interests. It is one of around 300 lodges is Essex with about 8,000 Freemasons raising around £1 million each year for charities and local good causes.
