Pathway Direct Applicant successfully initiated in the Abbots Hall Lodge

Another successful Direct Applicant introduction from the Members Pathway initiative

At the regular May meeting of the Abbots Hall Lodge No. 6205, who meet at the Upminster Masonic Centre – known colloquially as The Square - initiated a pathway Direct Applicant, Catalin-Daniel Farcas into the fraternity.

The acting Worshipful Master (WM), Paul Hacker, delivered an excellent ceremony of Initiation, and also demonstrated a ‘Scottish’ version of the working tools.

Catalin-Daniel (Daniel) first started his journey in Freemasonry, not that long ago in September 2023 when he contacted the Provincial Pathway team who were represented this evening by Deputy Provincial Membership Officer (DepPMO), Paul Morgan. After several discussions, Daniel was directed to the Abbots Hall Lodge where they continued the dialogue which led to a very positive outcome.

Paul Morgan provided a very useful update of several key successes on the Members Pathway and with many lodges now embracing the initiative is growing from strength to strength: his address was very much appreciated by the members and visitors.

With the business of the evening concluded, members gathered for a vibrant festive board with tributes to the initiate and heartfelt toasts. It was a lively affair marked by camaraderie and celebration, embodying the spirit of Freemasonry’s timeless traditions.

The members of the Abbots Hall lodge were justly proud in welcoming Daniel and wishing him many enjoyable years in Freemasonry to which Daniel responded by expressing his thanks for his remarkable day and very much looked forward to the next meeting.
