A magical night of Charity
Essex Freemasons, St. John's Lodge, who meet at Cross Keys Masonic Centre, hosted an unforgettable Magic Night at The Springhouse Club in Corringham, in collaboration with the talented magicians of the Ilford Magical Society.
The evening combined fellowship, entertainment, and philanthropy, raising an impressive £1,000 for two incredible charities: Brighter Opportunities for Special People (BOSP) and Clowns in the Sky.
Guests were treated to an immersive experience, with four skilled magicians performing close-up illusions at each table, leaving audiences in awe with mind-reading, sleight of hand, and interactive magic. The evening reached new heights with three captivating stage performances, showcasing the artistry and storytelling that make magic truly special.
Beyond the wonder and amazement, the night’s true purpose was raising funds for BOSP, which provides essential support to children and young adults with disabilities, and Clowns in the Sky, which brings joy and laughter to children in hospitals. Thanks to ticket sales and the generosity of attendees, St. John’s Lodge successfully contributed to these worthy causes, demonstrating the Masonic commitment to charity and community engagement.
The lodge extends heartfelt thanks to the performers, guests, and donors who made this enchanting evening possible. With such a successful event in the books, the magic of Freemasonry continues, bringing people together for a greater good.
