Essex Freemasons Support beloved local SEND School
Temple Lodge and Temple Chapter, meeting at Chingford Masonic Centre and Loughton Masonic Hall respectively, have once again shown their commitment to charity and community by raising £5,500 for Oak View School through a Grand Raffle. This generous contribution will help the school continue its vital work with children who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Located in Loughton, Oak View School provides care and education for students aged 3 to 19 with complex learning needs. The funds will support essential resources and services that enhance their learning experience.
This latest donation builds on previous fundraising efforts by Essex Freemasons, including a Race Night and White Table event, which together raised over £4,000 for the school. Their continued support highlights Freemasonry’s dedication to local causes.
Michael Jarmyn and Brian Rudgley, representing Temple Lodge and Chapter, presented the cheque to Head Teacher Tina Kearney before touring the school to see the impact of their support firsthand.
With more fundraising initiatives already in motion, Temple Lodge and Chapter remain committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of Oak View School students.
