Saint John’s Lodge enjoy their ‘Teddy Bears’ Ladies Festival
A heartwarming evening of elegance and charity with the Saint John’s Lodge as fun and friendship prevailed
Saint John's Lodge No. 1343 recently celebrated its Ladies Festival at the beautiful Orsett Hall Hotel, focusing not just on enjoyment but also on a meaningful cause. The evening, themed around teddy bears, successfully raised £1,100 for Teddies for Loving Care (TLC) Essex, our Freemasons charity that provides comfort to children in hospitals. This unique blend of fun and philanthropy made the night special for everyone involved.
Orsett Hall Hotel was transformed into a nostalgic teddy bear paradise for the night, with each table named after iconic teddy bears, creating a welcoming and playful vibe. The dedication to the theme added a memorable touch that resonated with the guests. The Festival President, Paul Williams, said “One of the highlights was the captivating TLC Balloon Arch, adorned in the charity's colours, which became a popular spot for capturing photos. More than just an attractive decoration, the arch symbolized the hope and support TLC Essex offers to young hospital patients, enhancing the evening's ambiance.”
The event stood as a testament to the spirit of giving, underlined by the cherished teddy bear theme. It was a night that went beyond mere celebration, marking a significant contribution to a worthy cause thanks to the generosity and commitment of the Saint John's Lodge members.
