Temple Lodge and Chapter combine to support Oak View School

A combined effort by these two units hi-lighting Freemasonry in supporting local communities and charitable causes.

Temple Lodge and Chapter No. 5279 have once again demonstrated their commitment to charitable giving by raising an impressive £5,500 for Oak View School through a Grand Raffle. This significant contribution will help the school continue its vital work in supporting Children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

Oak View School, located in Loughton, provides dedicated care and education for children aged 3 to 19 years with a range of complex learning needs. The support from the Lodge and Chapter will aid in the provision of essential resources and services that enhance the students' learning experiences.

This latest donation follows previous successful fundraising efforts by the Lodge and Chapter, including a Race Night and a White Table event, which collectively raised over £4,000 for the school. Their ongoing commitment to Oak View School highlights the strong values of Freemasonry in supporting local communities and charitable causes.

A cheque for £5,500 was presented to Tina Kearney, Head Teacher of Oak View School, by Michael Jarmyn and Brian Rudgley, both active members of the Lodge and Chapter. The presentation was followed by a tour of the school, where the visitors had the opportunity to see first-hand the incredible work being done to support the students.
